2010. That was the year that I was going to devote to my family. No more job. No more volunteer work at church. No more mommy groups. I was going to take the year and become an expert at being a wife, a mother, and a homemaker. I decided to treat my role in this family as a job. I gained some insight into how important my role is. And it wasn’t easy trying to push past the “norm” of how housewives are these days. It’s been an interesting journey and I look forward to sharing some of my journey with you. I’ve had a lot of inspiring people help me along the way as I found myself living a role that our world doesn’t easily accept and I hope that maybe I can encourage you in some way.
